ABOUT THIS GAME
In My Time At Portia, you play as a young builder who has just inherited a workshop from his father, in a small town with a beautiful cartoon named Portia. The city itself might look like it was just taken from a fairy tale, but the rickety hut that is now your home is filled with holes and only contains a single bed (what kind of father doesn't wake a bathroom?). After strengthening several connections and getting a license as a builder, then it's up to you to follow in your father's footsteps and build a reputation from work and complete several work contracts.
Luckily as a new person in this small town, it's quite easy to find work because you can get commission jobs posted in the Commerce Guild, there are even playing quests that make you take overtime. This quest usually assigns you to assemble certain items from materials that you collect from the wild, then process them using the machines in your workshop. As developments in this game, recipes for assemblies that you have to make will also be more complicated, and you will want to expand your business and invest in facilities and pages in your handbook by visiting the research center.
As a newcomer, we immediately felt welcomed into the Portia community. We get new friends, build new transportation systems, and attend events throughout the city such as the Day of the Bright Sun Festival where prizes go down like rain from a patrolling air ship. Here, getting a place in the community has the same meaning as assembling and building, and even gives its own color into the gameplay leap and at the same time becomes a pleasant distraction. When your friendship with certain NPCs grows, you will get other things like getting more prizes, or getting bigger commissions.
